Along the wonderful shoreline of the Gargano,  natural inlets, coves and beaches of unique beauty come in succession. Beaches here are surrounded by high cliffs covered by a thick and luxuriant greenery.

The pinewoods made by Aleppo pines and the Mediterranean forest prevail in the area by giving to it magnificent colors both in the springtime and in the fall, with the blooming of many flower species.

Among the more charming bays there is  “Baia dei Campi”, a very colorful beach, safeguarded in the south by the “Scoglio di Campi” and surrounded by pines and olive trees.
Set between the “Architiello” (one of Vieste’s symbols) and a huge cliff dominated by a fire tower, it shows unique chromatic contrasts.

“Baia di Pugnochiuso” is wonderful too, thanks to its  rocky beach, enclosed by two promontories and surrounded by hills  covered by a multitude of century-old olive trees and pines.

The trend of the itinerary is various, marked by rise and fall that allow you to enjoy magnificent views.

DIFFICULTY: T = Touristic (it consists of itineraries on small routes, mule tracks and easy, visible paths,  that  do not present uncertainties, difficulties or orientation problems. Those kind of itineraries are also suitable for hikers on their first experience).
